Nestling either side of the Left and Right Bank’s of the Seine were 67 participants for Paris Déco-Off. A collection of the top creators in International Decoration and Textiles were recognisable at their Parisian Showrooms.
Nina Campbell, Porta Romana, Kravet Baker & Jim Thompson were just some of the key companies that featured prominently from the 17th – 22nd January and this extravaganza certainly lived up to expectations.
Maison & Objet was, once again, displaying an eclectic mix of talent that embodies innovation and style. The theme of the season was “living” and there were lots to stimulate distributors and specifiers with the wide range of fabrics, wallpapers, furniture and home-fashion on display. Fundamental players such as Designers Guild, Romo, Ian Sanderson Textiles and Farrow & Ball were the ingredients for the success and international renown of this show in Paris; Capitale de la Création!
Our Management team visited Heimtextil in January 2013 which, for manufacturers, retailers and designers, is the first major show of the year and, therefore, could be considered as the biggest and most important platform for presentation and ordering of home and contract textiles.
The product show runs for 4 days each year and is accompanied by workshops and lectures aimed specifically at the expected 70,000 visitors.
Despite the -5 temperature that was experienced, Heimtextil was an excellent trade fair which presented the latest products and trends from 2,658 exhibitors from 61 countries. CEM Press Ltd was pleased to be associated with Cole & Son, Newmor, Sanderson & Zoffany to name but a few where the items and books we had produced were proudly being used by existing and potential customers and alike.
At the end of 2012 CEM celebrated 50 years of trading, during that time it has inevitable changed a lot. It has had to adapt and move with the times, it has grown in size and both the management and the employees have helped in the development of the company.
